People often ask, “how many boards and clips do I need?” and our calculator has been designed to help. It will provide a guide to the numbers of boards and fastenings you will require, but this is only an estimate and individual projects can vary, so please double check your requirements before placing your order.

We do recommend allowing for additional wastage requirements to cover offcuts or cutting errors which can often be created when cutting boards to length. Please note that if you wish to fit boards diagonally, we recommend that you allow 15% extra boards and that the subframe joist will need to be closer together.

N.B. The widths and lengths of the different boards vary and that it is important to select the correct board for your choice of deck. Quantities may change depending on the board you have selected.
